Hello all type 1 for a week now

hello carpsniper and welcome. I have been diagnosed T1 for 2 weeks. i have found this forum helps massively as has loads of information and also people are very helpful with your questions
 
i used to like my sweet food but at the moment im just more bothered about getting my levels stable. i have read a lot of ppl like to eat 85% cocoa dark chocolate but i dont think they do it in large amounts. Also, there are some recipes for puddings on the nutrition forum, though havnt tried any yet. im just still adjusting to the low carb diet. though im sure i will missing my chocolate at some point

people are very supportive on here and all will try to help if they can
 
I miss chocolate as well but I have found nibbling on the occasional square of Lindt 70% dark cures the craving. Wishing you well for the future.
