Hi Jose.
What are you eating if the food you are eating is entering your system fast this may be the reason or the carbs to insulin is not right. Is there a pattern to the highs.

Well, just got back from the diabetic clinic after seing the dietition and she's started me self regulating my insulin now after 2 and a half weeks of fixed measures. see how that takes and if i'm correct on doing 1-1 or if i need to work on 2-1. only time will tell. Already had 2 units insulin less on my dinner as i would have been having 10 but only took 8. interesting to seen what my bg is at tea time.

something else new to try and get my head around. onwards and upwards I guess
