My name is Jay Underwood. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 24. I believe I can prove from my medical and military service records, that this condition was triggered by exposure to "Rainbow Agents" (Agent Orange and Agent White) used by the Canadian government to defoliate training areas in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. this includes CFB Gagetown, New Brunswick, where British soldiers have also trained, under the same conditions.
Does anyone know if the British government has conducted any research into such causes? Also: I have been advised to check and see if exposure to DDT in Singapore in the 1960s might have played a role in my Diabetes.
