I have just read about the Islet Cell Transplant where it says people who have had Type 1 diabetes for over 5 years can apply. Is this just in America and when will this come to Great Britain. My sister was asked about two years ago re this but nothing ever happened she lives in England. They asked her because she was on a pump. I have been diabetic type 1 and have a pump too I have had diabetes now for 52 years and I would just love the chance of trying this.
