Hi jan , that is great , I admire people like you who can do craft skills ....enjoy ....needles and or pins are not just my thing ...Things do seem to be going in the right direction, My Doc gave me a tip, do something to distract yourself from Davids health problems , it will help you psychologically and give yourself something to focus on. So I have decided to pick up tapestry again. ♥ Jan

Why Not. Lovely hobby, to start off why not one of those kits you can buy. We are in SW France some gorgeous views. and you cannot get more restful. Have a look at Amazon, they always have loads of arty stuff on there. Love Cauli cheese, with a good well flavoured chedddar.Just finished meal it was really nice ..made cauliflower cheese so always happy with that ...

I have a recipe for med roasted salad, peppers, Tomatoes onions, braised with good olive oil, balsamic vinegar, the smalestt inch of sugar garlic and s and P will post it you are interested the juice is wonderful can be used as a starter main course or a side dish, Healthy and tasstyThanks jan , I will do that ....sounds like a good idea ...and a good winter hobbie for me as well ....
Cheddar ...I am an addict ..but I have chosen a lighter one at the moment .....but still a mature cheddar ..
I Could eat lots of cheese ,,but to loose weight I cut back ....it has worked so far ...
Apple and cheese as a snack now sounds very appealing
I had some lovely green beans and other roasted veg ...I did have one or two roast potatoes ...but with olive oil ...nice olive oil ....

Roast med Salad, Peppers , assorted colours Onions , Tomatoes, cur all the veg into weddges and arrange them i an oven proof dish, mix together equal quantities of basamic vinegar and olive oil, small pinch of sugar, salt and pepper and dried basil. juice of half a lemon, whisk until it emulsifies and pour over the veg,, scatter with fresh basil leaves if available, cover with a tight fitting lid or kitchen foil and bake in a low oven until done (about an hour) I sometimes scatter some grated cheese on top and pop back in the oven until it melts The juices are the best bit for me. Bon Apetite forgot a couple of cloves of garlic chopped finely oops!Ooooh yes please jan if you don't mind that sounds like my sort of meal ...thank you so much ....

Anything to make life and food more interesting, baked camembert with crudete is nice too so easy.Jan thank,you those roasted veggies are so me , I am going to make that ...I had not thought about adding balsamic vinegar to olive oil , but I will now ...I love garlic and lemon juice , I will make and enjoy ...Going to get the vinegar next time we go,out shopping ....

Me a Chef LOL no it is just things we enjoy, the baked camembert is a doddle, Just take it out of the box remove the plastic wrapping and wrap it in kitchen foil, slice off the top add a drop of oil and some garlic granuals pop the top back on and seal the package I normally put the cheese in a ramekin when it is soft and squidgy it is ready nice with breadsticks or vegiesGoodness jan , can you come to my kitchen please

Parsnips make a nice soup, with a little curry paste added ans perhaps a dollop of creme frais stirred in at the very endCauliflower and Stilton soup for us ..homemade ...see how that does not sound so global ....nice though ...
Tonight we are having spinach and mushrooms cooked in spices tomatoes and coconut ...with a little basmati rice ...
