Please Help!!!


I put a prescription in to boots every month repeats,Had no problem for 2 years,back in September I went to pick up my medication as I did every month but it was not there their mistake!
This was a Friday,I was ok for Insulin but running low,I was told to call back the following Tuesday,I returned on the Tuesday to be told It was not ready,I was confused and worried so I contacted my surgery GP and I collected the Prescription myself went to my local chemist sorted!!!!

Last Friday my Husband put my repeat in to my local chemist for insulin was told to pick it up last Monday,but I was Ok so decided to send him this morning for it as Snow and no insulin left!!!!

He called to chemist was told not there,I rang Surgery they told me there was a mix up it is in my local town BOOTS!!!
Snow buses stopped we have no car!!! I ring my Hospital Nurse Explain,she asks What is it I want her to do? I say OOOO Nothing I am advised to ring my Surgery back tell them to forward a fax to my local Chemist and all sorted!!! NOT!


I ring my surgery tell them to fax Chemist surgery nurse say ok no prob we do it ASAP!!!

I ring Chemist 2 hours later ask if my insulin is ready they say they had no fax!!!
I am now in tears frustrated!!!

My daughter rings Chemist they say ring GP,Ring GP It is now CLOSED!!!

We ring Chemist begging for insulin the lady was rude no we can't help bye DARLING !!! BY NOW WE BOTH UPSET !!!

I ring boots they have my insulin I explain everything to her she says no probs we send it in Taxi to your home ... WRONG that was 3 hours ago I now give up No Insulin nothing open tomorrow GP,Snow forecast bad this evening I have no Insulin,I am sure I will be ok I hope,It is Solo Star Glargine Lantus, once a night slow release,My daughter is upset she is 24,she panicking I am ok but so hurt to be passed to buck there is nothing we can do..

Where do I go from here as I feel like not getting another insulin prescription again I hate being made a fool of 9 this morning we first rang its now 5pm and I mean we rang GP 3 TIMES CHEMIST 2 TIMES BOOTS 1,HOSPITAL 1 I GIVE UP !!!!!! :roll:

Sorry back in November was boots not September !

I am gutted feel depressed and lonely insulin I need not Heroin,Can't see me ringing anyone I mean I have tried every thing and I feel helpless Chemist GP boots hospital where do I turn

Hi yes run out completely this is two months in a row that I have had to chase my medication,Lucky I have my daughter to help me,we Rang Boot's half hour ago they said it has been sent out in one of their van's,she said Taxi today !!!!!

Still waiting,but feeling better now I am thinking of going to a newspaper name and shame all the companies involved,I am 45 it could be they messing a pensioner about,it really depresses me to be treated like this,I have missed the odd injection to be honest,but I am thinking with the weather how long am I going to be without,partly my fault as I should have gone Monday to pick it up I should be more prepared,but I trusted Sarn Chemist I felt a nuisance ringing them trying to follow up..

The GP Nurse promised she fax it to the chemist ..Why didn't she then ????

I have decided I am going to my GP as soon as Snow melts New Year,and have it out with my GP,As I am told so many different things,I feel a fool,ringing these people,It still not arrived I am slowly finding the funny side what if i get ill,in next few days who is liable ?????



Anyway I feel ok at the moment I can see me ringing NHS Direct later if it does not arrive,why treat Diabetics like this,I have Hospital 15th Jan they going to have a piece of my mind !!!!

Just delivered but still upset xx
