Just thought I'd say hi!
I'm a newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic - diagnosed 3 days ago. I'm also 31 weeks pregnant so finding it all super difficult at the moment! Have been on levemir and novorapid for about 5 weeks now as they were treating me as though I had gestational diabetes until the blood results came back.
Have always been super healthy - BMI of 19.5 pre pregnancy, rarely eat **** and there's no history in our family so it wasn't even on the radar as a potential problem! Now all I can think about is chocolate....sigh...
Anyway, that's me - nice to meet you all
