Help needed!

Now I don't know if it's just me being a daft lunatic or if I'm completely blind, but I'd like to add a signature box/information to my posts on the forum. I have gone through my profile page a few times and can't seem to work out how to do it. Not sure if this is down to my own stupidity! or if I've missed it somewhere.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
 
Hover your mouse on your name at the top of the page, a pop up will appear. Click on Signature and you can put what you want in.
 

Thanks Tipetoo. this is a part of a screenshot of what comes when I hover over my name, I don't have a signature option given to me

Try it after you have posted some more, it might have a restriction on it before you can have a signature.

@DCUKMod might be able to put some light on this for you.

Embur - I'm not a massive app user, but I have a feeling you might have to set that functionality, from a web browser. If your phone or tablet are the only options you have, or you you just plain old prefer using the app, then you could still log onto the browser option from your phone or tablet, albeit the size of mobile screens is rather small to be doing that.

Hi, that picture is from my browser on my laptop, I just cropped the screenshot as I didn't want a huge picture in my reply and to make the part with my name a little bigger so it would be readable.

How bizarre. Mind you, it's a long time since I joined up, or noticed the option.

In order to help you move forward, if you send me a Private Message (PM), by clicking the letter icon next to your account name, including what you would like to be included in your signature, I can make those changes, the toddle off and find out root cause of the issue.

There is a standard control on sending PMs, requiring a small number of posts prior to allowing PMs. If you encounter that, then just tag or quote me, like you just did, and I can send you a PM to which you would be allowed to respond.
 
Thanks for all your help @Tipetoo and @DCUKMod. The signature option is now appearing when I hover over my name. You must need to post a certain number of posts before getting access to it.
Posting on this thread must have pushed me over the edge!!! and I've ye to thank.
