Hey guys!

The DCUK team are looking for ideas for what we can do this year to raise money for a diabetes charity. As many of you know, last year we climbed Snowdon to raise money for JDRF, but this year we want our forum members to decide what we do!

does metformin effect our cruel genes? as since i read your "please be kind" I've been sitting here trying to come up with the most gruelling events i can think of lol, sawwy

what level of fitness are we talking? running events or hiking or triathlon? can we join in?

The general level of fitness among the team is quite varied, but we'd prefer something that would be appropriate for all levels of fitness if possible
 
Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, taking in the summits of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

McMillian Cancer Relief are doing this challenge in June of this year.

I have walked a small section of this on a hot sunny day - beautiful countryside
 
How's about rowing the River Severn from wales down to the where the Severn estuary becomes the Bristol channel? A team effort and something a bit different.

Put a diabetic on every peak in England, Scotland, Ireland & Wales!(Or highest point in each county)
