Help with 7.5T license application

Has any been through the 7.5T license application and medical? Or any HGV license with type 2 diabetes. I am on metformin and nothing else. I know there are different rules for insulin treated diabetics. I am booked in for my medical next week and was wondering if there is anything particular I need to do or bring. Will I have any issues getting my license on metformin.
