help with supper??

I take nova mix 30 twice a day inject 46then night meal 48 also take metamor my nurse says after my insulin at tea half 6
I should not want to eat again till morning ??/I do not go to bed till half 11 to 12 oclock
my blood count has been given me 8 to 10 before bed .and 5 to 6.5 morn
well if I do not have snack or drink coffee at 9 night I am close to hypo .my blood counts are nigh on targets help????

Sorry, but your message/question is not very clear to me.

So, you inject exactly the same every day?

Do you change the insulin dose to match you food?

inject same every day not match food I wonder do any one else dib 2 have supper or snack ??she seem want me go from finish tea 7 oclock till 9 next morn well I try but have hypo unless have drink and snack she said don't control dib with food ??puzzled
 
 
You need to get advice from your medical team about adjusting the dose to suit your food intake.
 
she said lower injection but by 10 oclock I test and blood 3or 4 sooo I have start eat few nuts at 9 or biscuit with cocoa or coffee

and ye that ok at 1/2 11 when I test ?do any one else eat snack befor bed she says don't control with food but that means I go from 7 till 9 next morning on water and it stupid only my thoughts ??/
 
also went foot clinic they only having folk that dib 1 and have bad feet not doing dib 2 any more. Seem this area north east lincs ????doing this is every where??

When I was on mixed insulin I needed a snack before bed. When you have lowered injection were you advised how much to lower it by? I would speak to her again if you are still going low after you've reduced it so she can advise further

sorry I had wait see dib specialist was mis understanding
she never realise I don't go bed till 1/2 11 12 so from 7 till 9 next morn long time .after illness year ago went see her I was 112 overall now I am 56 and my blood tests 5to 6.5 befor e meals and 8 to 10 after .my colestrol is 2 so she says well pleased with me
not to see her again till june so pleased with self I weighed 13 11 befor ill then within 4 month after was wrong tablets and insulin went up 18 stone now lost 7 pound since xmas so trying hard have ailments so canot exercise as much .many thanks to you for reply and good luck on your journey .revive@2.
