Thanks horn blower, I will check out those books also, agree we all react differently, I am on 3 Metformin and 2.5 Glicazide a day so may explain the difference.

Hi Hornblower, I can see where you are coming from with the GI diet, especially using the glycemic load. So am changing my diet choices.

The GI foods are pretty general, do you know of a detailed list of everyday UK food products against Glycemic Index and Glycemic load.

Low GI by wombat Apps is pretty good a bit American for foods but can work with that.
