Hi ive just been prescribed LEVEMIR INNOLET PEN as ive tried so many tablets and insulin and none have agreed with me, has anyone else tried it or still using it does it work or not and what problems if any had please, im really at my witts end any advice would help, well once again like with all the other insulins and tablets levemir just sends my sugar way over 20, it is doing the same with everything they dont bring my sugar levels down just rocket through the roof has anybody got any advice for me PLEASE

It looks like Innolet just the name of the device. From what I see, it looks like it just administers larger (up to 50 units) doses of insulin detemir.

If my research is correct then, yes, I have experience with Levemir. However, I use the flex pens.

Take my experience with a grain of salt. I'm a recently diagnosed type 1 and likely still in the honeymoon phase.

With that said my levels have been razor sharp on levemir. I currently take 14 units in the morning and 14 at night (28 total). In fact, it works so well that there are many days I don't need meal-time insulin (my diet and exercise regulate the rest).
 
thank you for replying I'm hoping this works as my sugar levels are so high which have been for over 2 months my levemir is the one that looks like an egg timer
