I am either Type 1 or 2, my GP not sure! I am on insulin and metformin. My sugar levels are low between 6 and 7.
I have just been diagnosed with Hep C which can be cured. Unfortunately my liver is badly damaged and scarred.
I just wondered if anyone else has this with diabetes also underactive thyroid. Thank you
 
Do you know how long you’ve had HepC? Also how long have you had diabetes?
I got Hep c years ago from infected blood products to clot my blood but there has been a question mark as to that being also responsible for the onset of my type 1 diabetes.

I have slight hypothyroidism too.

My lft’s are off for years now.

Ps. Can your gp not refer you to a hospital who can determine if it’s type 1 or 2 that you have.? Well done on having the tight control of sugars you seem to have
