hiya my partner is newly diagnosed type 1in jan and is currently suffering from the flu, i would love to know if anyone has any advice on any herbal remedies to help him boost his immune system ie. vitamin c or eccinachea as i know this can help but im unsure if its suitable because of glucose content, can anyone advise please?? :?: thank you

my hubby refused to take OLE but after some heavy colds at his work he decided to start taking OLE and while everyone at work was suffering he did not suffer at all

I have said it many times before, one of the best remedies to boost the immune system, also to shorten the duration of a cold/flu, is elderberries.
You can buy the commercial preparation, called Sambucol, sugarfree syrup or capsules, and I would urge anyone to get out there and collect elderberries when they are in season, then freeze/preserve, they are yummy with ice creams, stirred into yoghurt, eaten with cream.
