hey, I m new

Hi Jamey and welcome to the forum We'd all like to know a bit more about you so we can help you if needed. I suggest you also have a look at your profile (via User Control Panel) to correct it so we can get to know you better. I don't know if you are newly diagnosed or not but here is some general information we give to new members. Ask as many questions as you like as there will always be someone to help.

Hi, I am also new to this so please forgive any mistakes! Really just wanted to say hi and looking forward to making some new friends with similar aspirations and day to day problems. I have visited the site a couple of times before and found some helpful stuff so thought I would take the plunge and join as I'm not usually one for online stuff like this but I hope I can also make a contribution in the future.

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum You will make many friends here and we all share experiences so you will learn a lot. Have you read the information I posted to Jamey just before your post? I think it will be useful for you too even though you are probably not newly diagnosed. Ask as many questions as you like as we all like to help if we can.

Hi Jamey and chris
Welcome to the site, i have been a type1 diabetic since the age of 6yr old and am now 42yrs old, i Have a few complications from neglect and i have been told it's also because i have been on insulin for sometime( sometimes i wonder about that). Not sure how long you both have been diagnosed but all i would say listen to your doctor/consultant and use your diabetic nurse if you have on and look after yourselves. There are so many subjects on here you will get all the support you need or wish for.
Take Care
