Hi All Derek here, well i was diagnosed with type 2 in 2009 and have been struggling to get my levels down for some time now but without success.
my nurse has thrown every thing at me over the last 3 years the list is endless.
This week i finally had to give in and agree to insulin. i had a home visit from the healthcare specialist to show me the ropes so to speak she was very supportive.
I have two pens one long lasting 24/hours and one i need to wind up as i eat carbs (Nova rapid)
she has also given me the Libra 2 system Very impressed with this to monitor and adjust my dosage as necessary.
all this i can handle but what i cant understand is what i need to do with the DVLA.
Well say that i do know what i need to do but its confusing and i need my licence to do my job.
I just need a little help and advice from someone who has gone through this process and walk me through it.
any advice would be very much appreciated.
