Hi and low BG experience in 1 night

Hi all,

Have type 1/3c
Had a very bad experience last night, took my novorapid at 9pm BG as follows:

12.30 4.2 measured before bed and taking levimer
1.00 3.7
1.30 4.7
1.50 3.1

Did all sorts of hypo treatments BG going up and down finally BG steadily going up

Has anyone experienced the same
 
Something like it. A drop to 3.4, and then the level bounced back up to 10.2. It took around 2 hours to settle.
 
I'm T2 not on insulin or owt but on a few recent occasions have gone up to 12 or so then dropped to 4.3 an hour later then bounced not very nice at all so you have my sympathy.
 
Oh yeah. Sounds familiar. Mind you I probably overcompensate for the lows by overdosing on carbs!
 
I used the DAFNE principle for carb counting and by the time the short acting had run out
