Hi everybody,
recived a phone call this morning from a pycharist, My mother has signed herself into the unit at her local hospital! Well done mum!
But then the doctor asked me if i was sat down, I said yes, she said that my mum had asked her to tell me a few things,
1) That my mum is in stage 5 renal failure.
2) That she has diabetic renopathy... sorry don't know the spelling it is to do with the eyes. daiabetic related!
3) she has catracts
4) she has glaucoma
5) she needs a op in july to remove a blood clot from the back of her eye
6) That there is a rare medical condition that robs all the female in our family of their eyesight from age 30 onwards! She did not want me to be scared of this happening, she can't remember the name of the eye condition!
7) That she needs to be forgiven for all the stress and trouble that she has caused me!
I am so proud of her! But the health problems she has is there any chance that i will get them! I don't expect a medical answer!
I am now afraid that the eyesight problem will now get worse! Apparently this condition is not picked until too late as the eyes look normal the hole time!
The doctor said that in her first session with my mum, she says that she can work on helping her! The first step has happened she knows she has a problem!
