Hi, just joined. I have had Type 2 diabetes for over 10 yrs but have never had any help or advice until today, saw the dietician for the first time. Had really good control despite this until this last year when I became seriously anaemic and had to have 2 units of blood last Xmas. Am still anaemic but count is going up, albiet very slowly, am currently at 9.4 on blood count. Trouble is, since then, my contol has gone out the window. I am currently running between 11 & 12 on my 3 monthly blood tests.
Any help and advice would be greatfully received, not having any joy on my own.
Many thanks

Hi warf! Welcome. Daisy will be along soon with her "info for newbies" sheet, with ideas on diet. Meanwhile, what sort of diet are you on?
