Hi SaraJane and welcome to the forum
Maybe following the advice given in this information which we give to new members will help you. Basically, you need to reduce the carbohydrates you eat. I don't know how much difference you will be able to make for Thursday but it's good advice for the longer term. Other members may have some other solutions.

It is more a matter of what you can't eat, someone will be along soon (I hope) to give some standard advice and information.

By BM I think you mean BG, and 15-20 is way to high. You could make a start by eliminating all sugar and foods containing sugar from your diet. Starchy foods like bread, potatoes, rice, cereals, and some fruits like bananas, grapes, even oranges or sweet apples all need to be carefully controlled. You can eat some but you need to check your BG two hours after to see how high they push your BG. 7 or 8mmol is high enough, any higher and it indicates you will have to cut down a bit on the starch or sugars.

This is the short version, I hope it helps, there is a lot to learn and you will soon get the hang of it.

Oooh! the info has arrived whilst I was typing H
