Hi everyone i,m a bit new to all this so here goes. I,ve joined to get some help and support with my boyfriend who was diagnosed with T1 approx 6 weeks ago .
He was misdiagnosed T2 about 5 yrs ago and then 6 wks ago basically collapsed with BM of 30 and had DKA . A traumatic time to say the least :!:
Ever since then its been like living with jekyl and hyde , i dont know how he is going to be one minute to the next.hes started to lie about when hes checked his bloods etc etc. I know hes taking his insulin but even so still very worried. I dont think he realises the impact that this is having on us and to be honest i,m struggling with how to deal with it all , he seems to be confused alot and forgets stuff. Not many Hypos but his levels are very erractic.
Any help , support or suggestions wood be very gratefully recieved :cry:
