I have had type 2 for 11 years and mainly been on metformin. I have had to pregnacies and i used insulin in both. At the moment i am taking Glucophage which is the oral solution of metformin.. I take the solution instead has I have had a gastric band and i now find it hard to take tablets. My diabetes was caused by me being very overweight and i am hoping that I will gain control over my blood sugar as i lose my weight.
