Hi

hopefully its ok to post here. I'm currently going through the process of getting a full diagnosis, my docter is convinced that I've got diabetes, as my glucose is the only one of many tests that seem off, even if they can't get a definate answer yet. I'll be happy to get an answer one way or the other, so that I can start getting back to some normalicy

Hello and Welcome... if you're looking for normalcy I'm afraid you've come to the wrong place j/k

Having a diagnosis is a crucial step to getting things back under control so please stay around, read, share and ask questions

Hi Akennedy and welcome to the forum I wish you good luck with the results of your tests. If you are diabetic, or maybe just pre-diabetic, this information will be useful to you. If you are pre-diabetic, following this advice could prevent the progression to full diabetes. This is the information we give to new members. Ask as many questions as you like - you will have many I expect if you are diagnosed diabetic.

Thanks for the welcome, guess I still need to get my head round things, and I'll have a better chance of doing that when I get something definitate regarding my diagnosises

Hi I'm a newbie too. Nice to meet you all. A couple of my family members have Type 2 diabetes, and it wouldnt surprise me if my dad got diagnosed soon, he's a pretty big guy. Just on here to meet and discuss diet management for diabetes sufferers and other issues.
