Hi, Im so glad I got the meter, at least I can now test at various times of the day and post meals
I havn't done the site's low carb course although I may give it a go. Ive basically been checking the food packaging on items and found items that can be replaced with low carb substitues such as courgetti instead of pasta, butternut squash noodles, free from pasta in H&B (although not opened these yet as dreading the smell!!
I have been assured though by members on here that once rinsed they're fine). I also buy snack size cheeses now, babybel, marmite cheese, laughing cow and have these instead of crisps. Plus nuts. There's so much choice, I don't hate it at all. The nurse told me to just walk faster and eat healthier. That was it!
