Hi, Albouy with type 2. I need some help about my feet. My big toes give me problems, especially at night. In the day, my toes are often giving pain and sensations. Been to docs, tried various medications, no change. My question is "why do my toes hurt and go bright red?"

I'm sorry I can't help with your toe problems. I find I have to keep going back to my GP and saying, this hasn't worked so could it be........? It's a process of elimination and may take a little while.

Can't help but hi.
My toes haven't moved for about two years but circulation is great so doctor says just keep an eye on them.
 
I am confused as to why there have not been members replying as I am lead to believe that us diabetics have trouble with there feet and I thought that there must be others out there with similar problems...which makes me think that maybe this problem is nothing to do with diabetics and there is another problem affecting my toes. They are hurting pretty bad today and it is painful to walk.

Might be worth asking your gp to refer you to see a Podiatrist, here is some information from the NHS about the problems they can deal with:

I have same problem feet as yours, I have had this prob for over ten years and nothing has helped.I go to a podiatrist every
six months and she can't tell me any thing new. sorry to be a downer on this
