I felt ok when I went to bed last night apart from Hungary at about 12.30 pm so I got up and had a sandwhich and drink went back to sleep at about 2pm.
My Son woke my husband up to say I was fitting while asleep 3 times and shouting out which I was obviously unaware of.
He did my blood sugar 2.2 while I was sleeping I thought I was dreaming......

He called an ambulance as didn't know what was happening.
Anthony tried to wake me I was confused and had to go to the loo was in their ages.
They did all the usual tests really low bs: 2 spoons of honey small mars bar and tea with sugar( yuck) but had to drink it bs went no up to 5.9 it has to be 6 before we can go 1 point off so took it again.
I was instructed to go see up got an appointment this morning bloods Wednesday then have to wait till 11th to see diabetic nurse a month away is ages.
So will see what happens in a month.
No more hypo s my body defiantly did like last night @t all.
Talk about commotion just done bs 4.7 hope it stays like that.

Just a quick check but I see you’ve recently gone low carb, have you adjusted your meds to match this? If you’re on the same fixed doses as prior to low carb that could be a reason for the hypo, less carb =less meds. Hope you’re feeling better now.

Hi to all,

Yes must be the reason why and yes I am feeling better now than I was on Sunday night.
So i will reduce my insulin.

Hypos suck. Are you confident with carb counting to assist in avoiding in future?
