Hi all
Just came across this forum when searching 'dafne', so glad I found you. I done the dafne course 2 years ago, started off really well but got side tracked along the way (as we do). Been to clinic today and must get myself re-motivated, I've put on weight and need to start eating more healthy, hopefully I will get the support I need here.

Hi Scottie and welcome to the forum This is an excellent place to remotivate yourself - you will meet all sorts of people who will welcome you and help you whenever you ask. Ask as many questions as you like as someone will always help. To help you to start to get back on track, here is the information we give to new members, and I hope you will find it useful.

Thanks daisy, that's most helpful, my name is Gail but couldn't log on with that. Will have a wander through the site and try to work it all out.

hi i done the dafne course found it very informative and educating however im now attempting to keep my sugars at a gd level and finding it hard i am either high (double figers) or to low im getting very frustratedand starting to feel slightly un well overall the course is well worth doing for any diabetic im type 1 and learn,t new things along the way

Princess I would do some fasting tests on your background insulin.. this is the normal causes of swinging BG's..

i think it is any age cause if she wanted a insuline pump she would have to do a dafne course to able to have a pump x
