high bg reading what to do

Hi just had a reading of 27.4 . Rang 111 nhs direct and they said they will get dr to ring me back with in 2 hours . Just a bit worried at mo. Any suggestions

Exercise, go for a long walk, what have you eaten for it to be so high?

Makes me wonder if maybe you're not Type 2 after all to get figures that high, though I'm no expert I hasten to add.
