I'm a bit worried as my blood sugar reading just now (5pm) was 14.2, and yet I haven't eaten since 10.00am! What has gone wrong with me?

If you are a Type 1 diabetic or insulin treated diabetic, your basal insulin is too low, or possibly isn't lasting 24 hours. You may need to increase it and/or switch to twice daily basal injections.
