type 2 for 3 months.although HbA1c is around 6.4,morning glucose remains 6 to 7.3 mmol/l
any idea how to bring morning glucose to say around 5,0mmol/l

There are quite a number of posts about this elsewhere on the forum - it usually relates to something called "dawn phenomenon". A lot of people find their fasting glucose is the last to come down and it may never come down if they have a strong dawn phenomenon. It's one of the most frustrating things about diabetes

My last Hb test was 5.4, so well out of the diabetic range but my FBG is quite often still in the 6's and sometimes 7's. Do your levels come down throughout the day ok.
