I just did bananas as directed and did not look up potassium on the net until now.

But WOW it looks like weightloss dieters know not what they are doing if they are ignoring potassium .

I wonder how much "we are all different" is actually a potassium problem.

Err my GP is suspecting too much potassium increasing electrical nerve function and sensitizing my leg cramps.

But what I read on it the potassium levels and their effects are a complex issue but you can read it for yourself.

We live in the subtropics bananas are plentiful cheap quick and easy and have been part of my controlled diet for about 9 months and my total diet has worked out fine except for the cramps over the last few months have become regular nightly events.

No leg cramps last night so instead of everynight being woken several times and having to walk around to get rid of them no night leg cramps for a week.

Not sure what is causing the cramps but now on 3 bananas per week instead of previously 1 per day

Hopefully my Cardio will tell me Potassium results from blood test last Friday. then 3 weeks to my Endo appointment and my next GP will be when flu vaccine becomes availablle for 2015.
