High Pitched Whining

Is it just me or does anyone else experience high pitched, piercing, whining in their ears around meal-times/injection times. I'm T1 diabetic for nearly four years and this has just started happening. I also get massive leg-cramps (which have just woke me up) that massively frustrate me. Just wonder if anyone else has this stupid whistling noise. Keep fighting the good fight, peeps.
