It might be a paradoxical high... what are your sugars like during the night?
It may be the case that you are going low during the night and as a reaction to that, your liver is dumping glucose (generally referred to as the "Dawn Phenomenon" or a "Somogyi Rebound" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic_Somogyi_rebound).

Simple solution is to do some basal testing Then adjust your basal rate accordingly. Your body isn't a machine and things do change.
You don't mention what your blood sugars are like for the rest of the day! What happens when you correct the high numbers?
Second what CarbsRok has said if this is an on-going issue, do some basal testing starting from when you go to bed and test your bg 2 hourly, if your bg starts to climb throughout the night adjust your basal rate 2 hours before the change, if in doubt ask for your DSN's guidance.
