Higher sugars when fasting

The activity on an empty tummy will have caused a liver dump initially, which should subside within the next hour. Housework always makes me rise, and is worse in the mornings than in the afternoons. I try to keep housework restricted to the afternoons. (Better still, great excuse not to do any at all!!!. LOL. )
 
I sat here and thought and thought. "What have I done differently as I am usually consistent over 2 months or more. Then it came to me. I bought an all-purpose kitchen cleaner one I have not used before, I bought it for the lovely scent 4 days ago. I have used this over the past 3 days. Yesterday I used it for wiping all over the kitchen. (I am a cleanerholic lol) I did wash my hands thoroughly before taking my BG but I could still smell the scent on my hands. Today for the first time I have not used it without gloves. I woke up this morning and did the BG and it was 5.5 This afternoon I did my BG again within two hours of eating a piece of fresh salmon my BG was 5.3 I am now wondering if the cleaner was the cause, even though |I washed my hands twice the scent still lingered. Just took my BG again just now and my blood is still 5.3 5 hours after eating
 

It is a distinct possibility! Fingers crossed that was the reason.
