Hit a wall regarding food

I sometimes feel deprived a lot, but then I plan and think it is okay to have a day off like once a month, if my numbers are otherwise well controlled... so at that day eat all I like of all the forbidden fruits and other wonderfull foods like bread and grains... have a day of once in a while but not too often...is my suggestion, and try to broaden your repetoire of foods and recipees even though you mention that you are aware of the excistence of good recipees , but there must be some that could talk to your tastebuds...

how about these instead of french fries.. http://www.recipecorner.com/recipes-vegetarian_recipes/wonderful-parmesan-zucchini-strips_recipe

and these instead of potato chips...http://www.sugarfreemom.com/recipes/crispy-parmesan-tomato-chips/

What I don't understand is why eat strawberry jelly, low carb or not, when you can eat a strawberry with full fat yoghurt?
I'm with you in this - I don't get the whole jelly thing either. (But I don't much like yoghurt either since Lidl discontinued their Turkish yoghurt).

My naughty little treat is a few fresh raspberries or a perfect strawberry or two to dip in melted good chocolate.

I hate eating and do it only when I need too to survive.

3 or 4 meals on rotation works for me with 2 or 3 desserts.

In the beginning I used to overthink it all and stress that I could no longer eat **** and how would I survive but the reality is that all of my metabolic markers have improved significantly including eliminating BP meds after 20 yrs of really high hypertension.

If you think of it as nutrition and not entertainment it becomes easy to eat bland but safe and nutritious, easily sustainable.
