Holiday to Tunisia

Hi, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in February, and a family holiday had already been booked to Tunisia. Just wondering if anyone's been there or has any tips- I've not been there before and am slightly worried as to what to expect e.g. Foods, keeping insulin cool etc.
Any help would be much appreciated,

I'm also going this year my DN told me to make sure that you have a letter listing everything that you are taking with you otherwise they will take unlisted items off you, and i think they advice you to get injections x
