I’m going away on Thursday to Morocco and need a break! I have to take my insulin and needles and lancets etc. I’m wondering what any of you guys do when going away with packing your insulin and especially needles that I will need in my handbag. should I get a letter from the doctor? Just incase the people there are awkward when boarding?
Yes, I got a letter from my doctor last time I went away, just to be on the safe side, although this was several years ago now. I carried my testing kit and current insulin pen in my handbag, and packed my spare insulin pen and spare insulin in my suitcase, just in case. Hope you have a lovely holiday.
Yes, get a letter from GP. I keep my insulin in FRIO bags to keep them in the favorable condition. Always carry all my medicine including Insulin in hand luggage. Hope my reply helps. This is my first attempt to write on the Forum.
