After being diagnosed T2 at the end of December I just had my first blood test results. Hb1 was 131 its now 35. I started on 4x Metformin a day but got terrible cramps so I decided to halve it. No discernable effect on my glucose measurements. Nurse says if I'm still pre-diabetic at my next review then I can stop the Metformin. I might halve my dose again before then and see what happens!
