Hospital for surgery

Sending you best wishes for a speedy recovery...
Get well soon....kx

Thanks everyone! I'm back at my parents now getting a cuddle from my 7 month old nephew, enough to make anyone feel better!

Throat really isn't too bad, no worse than my usual bouts of tonsillitis. Hospital has only checked my BG twice since I went in, and not at all since I came out of theatre which I though was completely outrageous. I've obviously been checking myself and running a touch high at 13.6 just before I left, but no one in the hospital checked or asked if i had checked myself!

I've got some low sugar jelly setting and my mum has made up some ice lollies using my usual diluting juice so I can have as many as I like without affecting my BG. Glad it's over now!

Glad u made it out. Get well soon, enjoy the sun

BG has been back down to the 7s today. All things considered I'm pretty happy with that! Hope to be back to 5s and 6s within a week

On a rather extensive regime for pain killers which has been giving me a rather pleasant legal high nothing a nap here or there can't solve! I'm only little and they obviously had to force my mouth open so I've ripped a bit at the corners and an starting to look more and more like the Joker every hour haha!

Re-admitted with complications just after midnight tonight. Feeling very sorry for myself! All fine though and just staying in for observation now

Yes ill be fine. Had a fairly major bleed so a quick trip and A&E. pleased to say this time around they're really taking notice of my diabetes and I've had my blood sugar checked 3 times since coming in

Got and IV painkiller which is making everything better

Good glad your being looked after
