How are Type 2's on insulin different than Type 1's?

Type 1's do not produce any of their own insulin, and are therfore dependant on insulin injections / pumps.
Type 2's produce some insulin, but the body builds up a resistance to it, so it becomes ineffective in regulating glucose levels. They are insulin requiring, not insulin dependant
