On Monday evening, I had three pints of real ale. Tuesday, I treated myself to a "fish tea" and three beers. Wednesday, Potato soup followed by Sea bass with new potatoes.
Yesterday, I went to the Caprice Italian restaurant for lunch.
Of course, I still had my usual breakfast cereals and other snacks throughout the day.
Unfortunately, I incurred a slight injury to my left foot and was unable to exercise for two days this week.
When I weighed myself this morning, I was 4lbs lighter than on Monday. I'm not complaining, mind you.
While you were at the Italian restaurant, the Mafiosi broke into your house and tampered with your scales. This is the only plausible explanation that I can think of, John.
I'm not suggesting that what I did was that excessive but I wouldn't have expected to lose much weight this week. Just stay constant.
It just seems strange as I've been hovering around the same weight for 3 or 4 weeks...until now... but I'd been much stricter than over the last few days.
However, some people do say that you have to eat to lose weight. So, maybe it's true :?:
I have had that happen to me too. I think that there must be an inbuilt defence mechanism in there somewhere just in case there is a famine - and when there clearly is not a famine the weight suddenly drops.
