Are you using the app? Select the plus sign (to the left of the reply box). Then you'll see icons (small pictures at the bottom): one is to use your camera and the next (Sun & mountain) is to attach an existing photo.
If you're using the web, the sun & mountain icon is on the 2nd row, 6th icon along (to the right of the smiley face).
