Sure! I don't competitively run as I just do it for exercise, but I row for my school in an 8 as stroke and in single sculls. I row with Bedford School Boat Club, so the standard is really high - we do normally 2-3 hour water sessions and occasionally 5k or 15 min ergo tests. Hope this helps
Sounds great @gchristian. It basically is just trial and error for you to see how your body responds to each activity. For example, the 5k should be fine if you are sitting around 6.5/7 and are running around 22-25 mins. I find that my levels start dropping after 15 minutes running and need to take some glucose on board. Just test, test, test until you see what's happening with your body and glucose levels. Most of all, make sure you have hypo treatment ready to use if needed, especially in the boat
