There isn't really an answer to this as everyone tolerates foods differently. The answer lies with your blood glucose monitor. Test and see? Some people report tolerating fruits better when eaten as part of a meal instead of as a stand alone snack. Non-tropical fruits tend to be better too. Lots of variables to consider. Good luck.Hi all I'm T2 I love fruit plums.peaches pineapple strawberries (that's the only berry) banana I could eat it all day but i know irapes as i would eat the whole bag Banana only every few days Can i ask those who like fruit how much you eat a day and how much in one go daily I know there is natural sugar but to much can be to much I find it difficult to know how much to have each time and through out the day Thanks
I love fruit but generally avoid it now. It affects my BG too much. I sometimes have two or three raspberries or blackberries with cream, but that's it. I think it helps BG levels to have it as a small part of a larger meal.Hi all I'm T2 I love fruit plums.peaches pineapple strawberries (that's the only berry) banana I could eat it all day but i know irapes as i would eat the whole bag Banana only every few days Can i ask those who like fruit how much you eat a day and how much in one go daily I know there is natural sugar but to much can be to much I find it difficult to know how much to have each time and through out the day Thanks
What does your monitor tell you about fruit? I recently discovered I can tolerate watermelon. I would have assumed otherwise if I hadn't tested. Chin up.Thank you so much for your reply Think i must put my hands in my pocket when around fruit
