how odd.

For the first time since diagnosis last night I had a slip and ate some licorice well quite a bit of it and a snickers bar. I had been running good all day on bg 7.1 on getting up 6.4 after no carb breakfast and 1x metformin 1 hour after sweets I was 9.9 wich yo be fair was far beyter than expected @ 2hours and just before tea it had gone down to 8.4 I had bacon and 1 egg for tea with 2x metformin 1h30min after I had 4.4 @ 2h 4.7 I have never been in the 4s before or not since testing any way infact iv only been in the 5s a couple on times. How can this happen has the sweets worked as some sort of reset switch? How odd!! Does this meen I'm cured?
