Another fabulous home remedy is - apple cider vinegar! That wonderful stuff.
Soak your feet/immerse your toenails in it.
(I guess any vinegar will do? But I had read about ACV...)
My GP had told me that she could prescribe one of the medications, but I needed to know about potential liver damage, so she did not recommend I take it. So I used nail polish to disguise the discolouration, and had a change of climate (to a dry one) (that was a 'btw' of course) - so cured. But when I returned to a damp climate, got nail fungus again, I used the ACV treatment, and was delighted that it worked, and pretty promptly.
