I was reading today about the affects of HRT on diabetics. This article did not recommend taking it as elevates your BS.
I would like to know if anyone else has heard of this and what they think.

Couldn't tell you, but I never took it knowing where HRT comes from. But I do know that I put weight on after a hysterectomy and then in menopause, which probably gave me diabetes.

I've not found the HRT affects my levels, but I've been taking it for about four years so well before my diabetes showed up.

HRT for men (Testosterone) lowers BGs and helps reduce body fat.

It no good for ladies though, not unless you want a low voice and hairs on your chest

Some women who are not menopausal have to take HRT..they have no choice. There are always scare stories around but I try not to listen to too many of them.
