I am currently on Humulin S and Levermir, I notice that most users of Levemir use Novarapid as their bolus? Can someone explain to me, in simple terms , the difference between the 2?

Hi Lorna.

There isn't really a difference between either insulin, they both act the same , stay in your body and peak at the same times. I've been fortunate to of been on DAFNE this week and many questions where asked like this , and the answer seems to be what your local hospital / doctors seem to use. I'm currently on Novorapid and Lantus and found the local hospital to be more of a `Novorapid` hospital , but my local gp to be Humalog.
