First proper day back from holiday, I did the last 2.5 days pretending I did not have diabetes and ate what I wanted, I did not go silly and eate every moment I could, but breakfast lunch and dinner with ice creams a the beech and a few biscuits and choccy bars.
One thing i can say is you do enjoy and appreciate food when you do eat what you have not for ages. Even a humble bourbon biscuit tasted amazing.
And apart from a couple of slices of toast for breakfast I did not miss brea that much.
I did not test myself for in this time which felt quite wierd to start with, this morning I was 9.0 and pre lunch. Was 9.0, so coming down nicely I think (I reckon would have been up in the 16's)....
Lunch today was a ham salad with mayo. Oh well. Will wait for next years holiday
